TOGETHER WE CAN KEEP EACH OTHER SAFER
These protocols are for Shooting Star Botanicals and Acupuncture- for Berkeley Community Acupuncture protocols, read a bit under FAQ
Masks: For all patients, I ask that you come wearing a mask that covers your mouth and nose, and please keep your mask on during the duration of our appointment. I will have masks available if you have forgotten one. I will be wearing a N95 mask during our appointment.
Cleaning products: I use Envirocleanse to clean before and after each patient. Environcleanse is approved by the CDC to help prevent the spread of COVID, you can read more about Envirocleanse here.
Shared Space: I share the office with two other practitioners, who will also be seeing patients at the same time. Each patient and practitioner has their own treatment room with a filter, and is asked to keep their mask on.
Sheets: I do not currently provide sheets, instead I use table paper as a barrier, which is disposed of after each treatment. The table and pillows have a vinyl covering, and are wiped down with Envirocleanse between patients. There are heaters and a heat lamp available in the room to keep you warm. Please bring your own sheet or thin blanket if you think you'll need one.
Air filters: An air filter will be running the entire time during your treatment. I keep them on for the whole time that I am on shift, both in the treatment rooms and common space.
As a practitioner: I am fully vaccinated and boosted. My booster was on December 14th, 2021.
As a patient: Please contact me before coming in if you are experiencing any COVID related symptoms such as sore throat, cough, fever and chills. Please do not come in if you have tested positive for COVID within the last 14 days. If needed I can offer a virtual appointment.
Any questions? Please contact me. Thank you for working together to keep all of us safer.
